We work closely with builders, architects and builders merchants from the early planning stages to advise on budget control and cost estimation, which ultimately affect the feasibility of the project to completion.

Our team are all qualified and experienced Builders, Construction Cost Estimators and Cost Engineers with decades of experience in bidding, negotiating and managing construction projects. Our staff are Certified Professional Estimators, CPE, ASPE and RICS as a minimum standard. All our projects conform to SMM7 requirements.

With our input at an early stage, we prepare professional estimates and cost planning that allow you to

negotiate a fair price for your contract.  Our input also helps your company to negotiate  with contractors at the tendering stage and assist contract administration throughout the build. 

Our Senior Partners come from a hands on national construction companies and very experienced quantity surveying backgrounds.  

Our fully understand the pressures and stress that come with having to be onsite and finding the time to price up new projects accurately in an ever changing market place. We also understand fully the cost implication involved in multi residential developments in this widely changing climate and provide the tools and the expertise to navigate each project.

All the surveyors that work for Buildersmates are fully qualified, very experienced, many from hands on construction backgrounds. 

In most cases, the estimating of building projects is time consuming and not economically viable for builders or architects and this can take valuable time away from other areas of your business.   We don't solely work with you at the estimation stage, if you require assistance throughout the project with pricing variations, producing valuations and submitting final accounts, we are always here to assist you. 

Our initial price point is set low to minimise risk and then look forward to earning our fees with you as the project progresses. This has been a core investment policy by Buildersmates since the business started in 2006.
